Here we have a few more parts coming together on the Martin 244's.  This video shows the hull liner coming off the mold:

And in this piece, you can see three decks at various stages.  One has a liner and sits on the floor.  Another awaits its liner to be trimmed and inserted and the last one is atop her hull with most of the hardware on:

Check out the 97 footer behind the little boats under construction.  The crew thinks they are building toy boats with these little 24 footers!

Here's a video of Don Martin shaking down one of the JIB SET Sailing Club's Martin 244's.  The JIB SET boats sail under their distinctive red jib. Sailing with the JIB SET is only $149/month for members.  The boats are currently offered at Granville Island with plans to expand further.  Hook up with the membership on its Meetup Group or Facebook

Here the deck is being laid up for a new Martin 244.  This boat is headed to Toronto to the Humber Sailing Club.

....and here they are working on the hull.  Phil Sales has been glassing for many years and takes great care to make sure it is free of any bubbles.

Call it a Snowball's chance in heaven.  We took the boat up, set up the tents, mast and mainsail, brought the band and promoted sailing to the skiing crowd.  It was pretty bad weather, but we had lots of fun all the same!  Not much more skiing if the weather stays this mild.
